Why we're not doing Black Friday
Black Friday discounts are flying through the internet this week, so we wanted to take a moment to explain why we're not doing one.
Affordable toilet paper, all year round
At Naked Sprout, we believe in fair pricing. We price our products to give you the lowest cost all year round, not just once a year.
Whilst keeping our prices low, we still pay everybody in our supply chain a fair, Living Wage, and both of those things together mean we don't have huge margins to slash for flash sales like some companies may do.
Ultimately, we don't think you should have to choose between sustainability, affordability or ethics, and that's why we're committed to bringing you the best possible prices long-term, not just on one Friday a year.
How you can save on Naked Sprout
Even though we don't do flash sales, there are some other ways you can save on Naked Sprout (besides the fact we're already the cheapest eco loo roll per sheet!) We wanted to share them with you, as we appreciate the cost of living is increasingly high these days.1. Buy in bulk and spread the cost with Klarna
Our toilet paper comes in packs of 24, 48 or even 96 rolls. When you order a larger pack, it costs us less than 2 equivalent smaller packs because the warehouse team and couriers only have to pack and deliver it once, so we save on delivery fees.We think it's only fair to pass this cost saving onto you, so our larger packs cost less. Here's an example using our one-time purchase/non-subscription prices:
- 48-pack: £7.01 saving v. two 24-packs
- 96-pack: £11.00 saving v. four 24-packs
Klarna is available on orders £38+ on one-time purchases/non-subscription orders only.
2. Subscribe and save
As you may know, we offer a subscription option for our products. Being able to look ahead and forecast purchases from upcoming subscriptions lets us plan our stock levels accurately – so we can be as efficient as possible with production runs and transport from our factory to warehouse.This means we're able to offer a 10% discount on all subscription orders. And unlike some companies, we don't just offer a discount on your first order; we give 10% off every subscription order.
(Plus, if you combine it with buying a larger pack size, you can benefit from the savings mentioned above too!)
The majority of Naked Sprout customers choose subscription – but in case you're not sure how it works, here's a quick overview:
- No monthly fee, only pay for what you need, when you need it.
- You choose how often you want it (from every 3 weeks to every 2 years!)
- You can pause, edit or cancel anytime.
- We email you before each delivery so you have time to make changes.
